I've heard there is an expo in Warwick RI, March 20th. Is this true? Is anyone going? I haven't been to this one so I'm wondering if its worth driving to.

Its kind of small, but EXTREMELY good prices! Also a wide variety of reptiles. Most of the vendors were extremely nice! well besides regal reptiles

LOL, I see them at the White Plains show and always have a big table. They sell a lot of WC stuff from what I saw so stay away from buying from them. Although they did have a Leucy BRB last time was there that me and Matt where taking pics of. I will have to post the pics of it.

Jason, NEVER BUY FROM THEM! EVER! NO EXCEPTIONS! lol. Me and peter went there when i was on vacation with him and his son, and lets just say i was appalled. There were decaying bearded dragons in with other terribly skinny bearded dragons and every thing just was terribly dirty. The only thing that looked OK where the dart frog enclosures. But other then that we didn't like what we saw at all....Just my two cents...Also Regal Reptiles is classic fr bringing snakes with mites to shows! Just ask Jeremy! ( JandDReptiles)
But most good vendors have learned to come prepared witha can of trusty ole' prevent ta mite and wipe a rim around there table, just incase they get a table next to Regal Reptiles!

Yup. Nothing but trouble from Regal.

Went to their place once. Adult beardies in 10 gallon tanks. Tortoises packed in tiny spaces. Etc etc.

I once bought a toad from them at the NH show (before I was wise to their schemes). It ended up having some nasty disease...NOT pretty. They told me it was captive bred when I got it, but obviously this was WC.
I called them to complain, and they accused me of not knowing how to keep it right.

I've never bought anything from them again.

I think I am going to try to make it to this show however.

I was in RI a few years ago and thought I'd take a look at regal reptiles... I wanted my 5$ back after seening the place. I dont remember seeing one clean cage and some of the conditions the animals were being kept in were shocking. I was very sad. Even their sales area was filthy! I wont ever go back. I'm suprised they are still around.

They don't have a big store anymore. I think they just do parties there. I have many stories from that place!

Bump.

Does anyone know if the Warwick show is still on?
I see it advertised all over, but there is no actual website or anything....at least not one that is working.

I really don't want to waste the trip.

I was wondering the same thing... I see it's advertised under the events section of Kingsnake.com and on herpcenter.com but the link to the actual site doesn't seem to work. I was really hoping to check it out but I dont wanna go for nothing. Hmmmm.... Maybe if we call the place hosting this show? Does anyone know the hotel address?
